The Art of Science Reading Series Presents:
SYNCHRONICITY
BY Arthur I. Miller
This story brings alive the intriguing encounters of Dr. Carl Jung and the brilliant, brash physicist Wolfgang Pauli and some strange synchronistic events.
In 1931, the psychoanalyst Carl Jung took on an unusual patient, the brilliant young physicist, Wolfgang Pauli. Arthur I. Miller tells the story of their friendship, how they impacted each other’s work, and reflects on creativity.
"Synchronicity" tells the story of how the unlikely friendship of Pauli and Jung led to the discovery of CPT symmetry.
There will be a post-performance talk by special guests.
We host a discussion group, board meeting, and a Kristine Mann Library meeting every month.
From play readings to lectures to workshops to seminars, we here at APC of New York find new ways to engage with Jungian psychology every month. We hope to see you there!

“Hello, I’m Justin Hamacher, a diploma candidate at the C.G. Jung Institute Zurich and the recipient of the 2024 Kristine Mann Library Research Award. I’m conducting research for a book I’m writing titled ’The Visual Jung: The Artist’s Journey Through Jungian Training’ and am looking for Jungian analysts or analysts in training to interview regarding the creative processes they have used to manage, explore and embody the concepts they encountered during their Jungian training.
Of particular interest are creative artists (painters, dancers, sculptors, composers, writers, musicians and beyond) though anyone who has used a creative process during training would be a welcome conversation. I will be in NYC the last week of May, though remote interviews are a possibility as well.
If interested in potentially participating, please feel free to email me at justin@cascadejungianservices.org. Thank you so much, Justin Hamacher ”
The Analytical Psychology Club of New York was created by Kristine Mann, Esther Harding, and Eleanor Bertine, three former of Carl Jung, who wanted to come together to learn more about Jung and Analytical Psychology, and coalesce a community of people who shared this desire to explore the mysteries of The Self. These deliberations often lasted many hours and were the core of what the Club did during these early days.
Our discussion groups follow in that tradition by having members examine the various aspects of analytical psychology and explore their own growth and paths to individual growth and self-discovery.
Non-members are welcome to attend.
All meetings are virtual and held every third Tuesday of the month from 6:30 - 8:30. Please contact us for your invitation!
