When we must…

“When we must deal with problems, we instinctively resist trying the way that leads through obscurity and darkness. We wish to hear only of unequivocal results, and completely forget that these results can only be brought about when we have ventured into and emerged again from the darkness.” — C.G. Jung

  1. The light at the end of the tunnel. But you have to go through the tunnel. Many don’t want to go through the tunnel. It is too dark and too small. You often have to get down on your hands and needs and deal with the rats and other creatures that scurry in front of you and on top of you. The tunnel is long, and one must be vulnerable for a long time. I can’t count the number of clients who have said during the process, “Why did I start to get conscious? It is too hard.” But by that time, they cannot stop. Emerging from the darkness it too important.
