DAMSELS, WITCHES, AND DEMONS: MYTHICAL DIMENSIONS OF

EATING DISORDERS

Tuesday: March 28 2017: 6:30PM to 8:30PM

Members and Seniors: $10; Non-Members: $20; Students with IDs: $15

This discussion will consider the mythical dimensions operating at the core of an eating disorder. We will think about how we can use myths and fairy tales to help us think through clinical conundrums that recur when working with this population.

Melissa Daum, LMFT is a Primary Therapist at Monte Nido Manhattan, an eating disorder partial hospitalization program, and she also has a private practice in Brooklyn. She received her MA in Counseling with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and her BFA in Fiber Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she was also an instructor in Humanistic Studies for courses on dream analysis and psychopathology. A SECOND DISCUSSION OF WHAT THE JUNGIAN COMMUNITY CAN DO

IN THE NEW POLITICAL CLIMATE

Tuesday: April 25th 2017: 6:00PM to 8:30 PM

Members and Seniors: $10; Non-Members: $20; Students with IDs: $15

THE SHADOW HAS WON (FOR NOW)!

This will be the second of a series about the SHADOW that seems to have engulfed the United States and the rest of the world.   The first discussion on December 6, 2016 was very lively.  At a time when “fake news” is ever present, we need to “demand evidence and think critically.”  We look forward to a passionate as well as a thoughtful discussion about how the Jungian Community can organize to meet the coming challenges.
