Evening Programs 2017-2018

TUESDAY EVENING DISCUSSION GROUPS

6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

The 4th Meeting: January 23rd, 2018

Members and Students with valid IDs = $10

Non APC Attendees = $20

As most members know, the APC was started because patients of Mann, Harding and Bertine wanted to come together to learn more about Jung and Analytical Psychology and to form a community of people. These deliberations often lasted many hours and were the core of what the Club did during these early days.

The format of Tuesday Evenings will return to the beginning of the Club and examined the various aspects of Analytical Psychology and explore further what is this method of growth and to see how this method has helped and continues to help us individuate.  Non-members are invited to attend.

On November 7th, the Club held a discussion on “Jung and Sexuality”.  The discussion was very lively and could have gone on for a much longer period of time.  Since there was much more to talk about, we will be holding part two on this discussion on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018.  There is a new book by Edward Santana: Jung and Sex: Re-Visioning the Treatment of Sexual Issues.  There is a copy of the book in the Kristine Mann Library

Wine, as well as coffee and tea, will be served.

Quotations from Jung, but also other Jungian analysts, for instance Whitmont, Peck, Hillman and Hollis will be used to spur discovery.  The next meeting will be held on November 7, 2017.  Since sexual harassment has been so prominent in the news, this month we will be discussing Jung’s views on SEX.

Wine, as well as coffee and tea, will be served.
