Greetings from our President
The Analytical Psychology Club of New York, Inc. (APC) offers a unique environment for the development of individuation and group process. The APC provides an opportunity to explore and understand the work of Carl G. Jung which explores psychology and dream interpretation as well as mythology, religion and world cultures. Our organization is located in the Jung Building on East 39th Street in Manhattan, where we share space with four other Jungian organizations, the C.G. Jung Foundation of New York, the Archive for Archetypal Symbolism, the C.G. Jung Institute of New York, and the New York Association of Analytical Psychologists.
Aspects of individuation and group process are reflected in the manner in which the APC functions today. In her book titled Jung’s Contribution to Our Time, Dr. Eleanor Bertine, one of the founders of the APC of New York, observed that she and her fellow APC members found that club fellowship provided a place for the growth of greater consciousness in both individual and group life. Today our members find that the Club offers space to grow our individuation and our group relationships while exploring Jungian notions.
